Software Engineer in Payments & Accounts team

We are seeking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer to improve and develop bank core services in Accounts and Deposits area for one of largest bank in the Nordics

In Swedbank you have the opportunity to:

  • Design, build, and maintain high performance, reusable, and reliable Java code
  • Ensure the performance, quality of applications
  • Collaborate with a team to define, design, and ship new features
  • Maintain code quality, organization, and automatization


What is needed to suceed:

  • At least 5 years of experience within IT development
  • Experience with developing backend services with: Java, Spring Boot, Docker, Kubernetes, message broker systems like Kafka, RabbitMq
  • Understanding of Clean code principles and Clean architecture
  • Awareness of APIs design and usage in RESTful, GraphQL
  • Cloud DevOps knowledge
  • Pulse on AI to build intelligent applications, automate code generation and more
  • Forward looking & solution oriented
  • Fluent in English, spoken and written
  • Academic degree in IT or engineering or a good reason not having one
