Digital Business Analyst

Full time - Permanent - Hybrid Role based in Dublin

Their customers include individuals, small businesses, and mid-sized and large companies, as well as multinational corporations.

About the Position

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, articulate, and facilitate the changes necessary to address business challenges or capitalise on opportunities.
  • Provide structure and clarity to projects by understanding, defining, and communicating business objectives clearly to support the delivery of suitable solutions.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and articulate issues and opportunities.
  • Conduct end-user and customer research to inform solution design.
  • Liaise with both IT and business teams to explore and evaluate potential solutions.
  • Define business requirements in line with the chosen project methodology, including documentation such as wireframes, user stories, and process flows.
  • Contribute to the development of business cases, project scoping, and planning activities.
  • Support project teams throughout solution delivery, including technical analysts, testers, project managers, and business stakeholders.
  • Assist with post-implementation and training activities as required.
  • Take an active interest in Digital Solutions initiatives, including SEO, social media, and digital advertising campaigns, with the aim of enhancing the effectiveness of digital outputs.

Experience/Requirements

  • Proven experience in a business analyst or product owner role.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead workshops, manage stakeholders, document requirements, and produce supporting materials (wireframes, user stories, process flows).
  • Skilled in contributing to and reviewing test scripts and technical specifications.
  • Capable of supporting business analysts, testers, and developers across the project lifecycle.
  • Experience working on large, complex, cross-functional projects, including coordination with external vendors and remote team members.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in life insurance, with a strong understanding of life products, sales and administration processes, and regulatory requirements.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn new methodologies and adapt to dynamic environments.
  • Experience working with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Background in UX, including user research, prototyping, and usability testing.
  • Familiarity with Atlassian tools such as Confluence and Jira.
  • Experience with the Life400 policy administration system and working knowledge of Query/SQL.

Remuneration Package

My client is offering a salary between €80,000 and €85,000.
