Data Analyst (Customer Insights)

Seeking an individual driven by the challenge and excitement of uncovering data-driven insights to join our Business Insights & Analytics team. This position will make a significant and immediate impact on the business by optimizing and propelling our ability to uncover insights for our internal teams and global eCommerce retailers.

We are looking for an outstanding individual to help take our reporting and customer insights program to the next level. Using various data sets and analytics tools and working cross-functionally, this role has many unique opportunities to craft and drive business decisions and actions. Our new team member must have a passion for analysis and the intellectual curiosity to uncover opportunities to and drive revenue growth for our clients through data mining and analysis, followed by clear and concise storytelling.

Key Responsibilities

• You will be an integral part of the Business Insights & Analytics team and will both curate and present data-driven actionable insights for the internal stakeholders and eCommerce businesses
• Become an expert in leveraging Looker (our Business Intelligence Tool), Google Analytics, PowerBI, and other data sources to provide actionable insights using data analysis, visualizations and reporting
• Work cross-functionally with various stakeholders of the company (Customer Success, BI, Logistics, etc.) to analyze data including customer website behavioral & transactional data, with the ability to summary it for easy consumption by business decision makers
• Analyze data from various sources to identify trends, patterns and anomalies, and translate those findings into actionable insights, recommendations and areas of opportunity
• Communicate results of reporting and analysis through clear and concise story-telling including the curation of compelling data content and visualizations
• Build various vehicles and tools to support the democratization of the data analysis across various internal functions
• Produce performance KPI reporting that supports the ability to streamline data, make reporting more efficient, and helps to derive insights faster
• Perform deep dive analysis to uncover improvements that drive improvements in performance and increase revenue generation
  
  

Essential Experience & Behaviours

• 5+ years of experience in a similar role
• Experience with analytics tools (e.g. Looker, Power BI, Tableau, GA4, Python, etc.)
• Comfortable and extremely proficient in MS Excel
• Excellent oral, written communication and presentation skills are required
• Organizational skills including the ability to multi-task, set priorities, and follow up in a timely manner
• Ability to collaborate and work in a team environment as well as work independently
• Comfortable and thrives in working on multiple projects for various stakeholders both internally and client facing capacities
• Strong communication skills to effectively present data insights to internal collaborators and external clients.
