Enterprise Network Engineer (Mid-Level)

I’m Andrius Valiukevičius, Team Manager of the Network Contract Maintenance team at Telia Lietuva. Our team is responsible for supporting and maintaining the network infrastructure of Telia’s internal systems and commercial data center clients. Telia Lietuva operates several modern data centers that meet the highest security standards and serve many well-known Lithuanian companies. We’re currently looking for a skilled and motivated Network engineer to join our team—someone who’s eager to grow and help ensure the stability and performance of our network services.

As a Network Engineer, you will...

• support and maintain enterprise network infrastructure, including campus LANs, WAN connections, and wireless networks. You’ll be responsible for troubleshooting medium-complexity network issues in production environments and ensuring stable network performance. Collaboration will be a key part of your day-to-day work, as you’ll work closely with IT operations, security, and support teams. Additionally, you’ll contribute to maintaining accurate network documentation and actively share knowledge with colleagues to support team growth and operational consistency.
  
  

What we're looking for:

• Some practical experience with enterprise network equipment such as Cisco Catalyst, HPE, Huawei, Mikrotik, or similar switches and routers.
• Understanding of common routing protocols like OSPF or BGP, and familiarity with key enterprise technologies such as STP, HSRP/VRRP, DHCP, DNS, and SNMP.
• Experience or exposure to firewalls (for example, Fortigate, Palo Alto, or similar) and VPN technologies (IPSec/SSL) is a plus.
• Some knowledge of wireless networking solutions (such as Ruckus, Cisco, Aruba) and network monitoring tools (e.g., Zabbix, SolarWinds) is desirable.
• Strong documentation skills and good command of both Lithuanian and English are important.

Monthly salary range for this position: 2400 – 4000 Eur gross plus annual bonuses which are depending on your competencies and your and Telia results.
