THE ROLE

As a Senior Electrical Engineer at Kempower, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to the ever-evolving EV market. On a typical day, you'll develop electrical designs of DC fast charger systems together with colleagues, making a direct impact on our mission to revolutionize transportation.

In this role, you will

• Participate in product development projects and product change tasks
• Develop electrical designs of DC fast charger systems using EPLAN P8
  
  

At Kempower, we work in a hybrid model. Your office can be located in Lahti, Tampere or Helsinki. Work will require occasional visits to Lahti, for example for prototype reviews or laboratory tests. There is an opportunity to visit also suppliers and customer’s EV charging sites.

WHAT HELPS YOU SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE

• Knowledge and understanding of electrical engineering and relevant standards
• Interest in EV charging, energy storages and electrical systems
  
  

We appreciate

• Relevant bachelor´s or master´s degree
• Years of experience of electrical engineering tools, like EPLAN P8 or similar
• Experience of electrical enclosure designs and electrical system designs
• Good collaboration and communication skills
• Problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  
  

As our official company language is English, proficiency in spoken and written English is required; Finnish is appreciated.
