We’re looking for a Performance Data Scientist to join our team and help shape the future of contextual advertising as we continue to expand globally.

Your Challenge

• As a member of our data science team, you will take on the task of developing bidding optimizations through NLP applications, such as large language models, scalable embeddings, and network analysis solutions.
• You will be responsible for building and improving bidding functionalities which will have a direct impact on our client’s advertising KPIs.
• You will explore the applicability of LLMs for production, crafting solutions that can handle real-world, large-scale challenges, particularly in areas like contextualization, personalization, and relevance optimization.
• You will work on end-to-end projects, taking solutions from concept to production, and focusing on creating scalable, efficient, and impactful solutions.
• Collaborating closely with our cross-functional teams, your work will be aligned with business goals and drive the practical application of your solutions.

Tech StackWe have to support 120k requests per second running with ML models in production answering within 10 milliseconds! We have this running in production with Python and GoLang microservices using datalakes, GCS, Redis, Kinesis or Kafka. All this is constantly deployed in GCP using Kubernetes and other kinds of production stacks. The current stack outputs 20 TB of daily data having them ready to use for analytics and more with easy and low latency access.In the rest of the company, we also develop in Typescript for Nodejs and Scala making use of technologies like Kafka, Druid and MongoDB all over the Google Cloud Platform.
What You’ll Need to Succeed

• You bring 3-5 years of experience in data science and machine learning, with relevant experience in developing ML/NLP applications at scale to address real-world business challenges.
• You possess strong software engineering skills and a track record of deploying machine learning models in production environments, with proficiency in Python and experience in libraries relevant to NLP and embedding frameworks.
• You have a strong academic background in fields such as Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or similar, with a focus on quantitative analysis and problem-solving.
• You have hands-on experience with end-to-end project workflows, from data exploration to deployment, proven ability to scale embeddings for high-volume data environments, and are skilled at managing both the technical and business aspects of data projects.
• You are proactive, entrepreneurial, and adaptable, with a commitment to leveraging data and machine learning to drive impactful, measurable business outcomes in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
