Software Development Specialist (Arabic Speaker)

We are looking for a highly skilled Software Development Specialist (Arabic Speaker) on behalf of a leading telecommunications company for a permanent role in Abu Dhabi. As a Software Development Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust software solutions. You'll be responsible for the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC), leveraging Azure cloud technologies, Azure DevOps (ADO), and CI/CD pipelines to deliver innovative AI-powered applications.

Salary range: Up to 40,000 AED

Key Responsibilities:

Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC):

• Oversee the full software development process, from gathering requirements through to deployment and post-launch support.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to align on project timelines, scope, and resource needs.
• Analyze requirements thoroughly to define precise technical specifications.
• Design and build robust, scalable, and maintainable software systems.
• Conduct comprehensive testing, including unit, integration, and system-level tests.
• Manage deployments to Azure environments using modern CI/CD tools.
• Monitor live applications and resolve performance or stability issues as they arise.

Azure Cloud Expertise:

• Utilize a range of Azure services such as Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Storage to architect and deploy cloud-native applications.
• Enhance performance and cost efficiency of applications hosted on Azure.
• Implement and maintain strong security protocols for cloud-based software.

Azure DevOps & CI/CD:

• Use Azure DevOps for version control, backlog management, and build/release pipelines.
• Automate build, test, and deployment stages through well-structured CI/CD workflows.
• Apply best practices in continuous integration and delivery to improve development speed and reliability.

AI & Machine Learning Development:

• Build applications that integrate AI features using machine learning and deep learning techniques.
• Train and fine-tune ML models tailored to specific datasets.
• Seamlessly embed AI models into applications to enhance user interaction and functionality.
• Keep abreast of the latest trends and developments in the field of AI and ML.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software development, with a solid background in SDLC, Azure cloud environments, Azure DevOps (ADO), CI/CD practices, and AI-related projects.
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• Fluent in Arabic, with excellent proficiency in English (spoken and written).
• Strong coding skills in one or more programming languages such as Python, C#, or Java.
• Practical experience working with various Azure services and cloud-based tools.
• Sound knowledge of software design principles, data structures, and algorithmic problem-solving.
• Familiarity with machine learning and AI technologies, including hands-on work with frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and communication skills.
• Comfortable working both autonomously and as part of a collaborative, fast-moving team.
