Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading and managing a multidisciplinary site team, and direct contact with client project manager.
• Liaising daily with the Client and EPCM Contractor on technical, legal, and contractual matters.
• Overseeing the development and implementation of the power plant project.
• Handling all contractual and commercial aspects of the project.
• Coordinating works to ensure compliance with contract specifications within the project schedule.
• Monitoring project progress and addressing any delays.
• Approving key deliverables and making technical and commercial decisions.
• Initiating contract changes and claims against contractors.
  
  

Qualifications

• Experience with power plant consultants, EPC/EPCM contractors, and gas turbine OEMs.
• Experience in tendering, contracts, and plant performance in the Middle East.
• Proven track record of site-based project execution.
• Broad project management knowledge.
• 15+ years of relevant professional experience, including 10 years as a Project Manager.
• Consultancy experience as a Project Manager for 350 MW and above will be an added advantage.
• GCC/UAE experience is mandatory.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is mandatory; a Master's degree in the power sector is an advantage.
• PMP certification is an advantage.
• European nationality is mandatory.
