The Position

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Insights & Analytics, this role plays a critical part in supporting the financial health of the organization by ensuring the integrity of payment processing data and driving arrears recovery initiatives. You will work closely with Fundraising, Donor Care, and Finance teams to identify and analyze arrears trends, ensure data accuracy, and design and implement targeted recovery campaigns for our recurring donors.

You will be responsible for developing and maintaining dashboards and reports that monitor arrears and payment data, identifying anomalies, and recommending actionable insights. Your work will directly support the organization’s ability to recover missed payments, improve donor retention, and maintain data quality across systems.

What success looks like?

  • Monitor and analyze arrears and payment processing data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for recovery.
  • Develop and execute data-driven arrears recovery campaigns in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure data integrity across payment systems and donor records, proactively identifying and resolving discrepancies.
  • Translate business needs into technical requirements for reporting and campaign targeting.
  • Create dashboards and visualizations to track recovery performance and data quality metrics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes related to payment collection and donor engagement.

As Our Ideal Candidate You Will Have

  • A strong analytical and curious mindset with a passion for solving business problems using data.
  • Experience working with large datasets and complex queries (SQL proficiency required), with a demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools and techniques to enhance data analysis and decision-making.
  • Familiarity with arrears management, payment processing systems, or fundraising data analysis.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM and Snowflake is an asset.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Plan International Canada is a hybrid workplace. You will work from the office and from home.

The salary range for this position is anticipated to be between $65,000 and $80,000. We comprehensively evaluate a variety of factors to determine fair compensation, including experience, specific job-related skills, and relevant educational or professional training. Additionally, we ensure that compensation is equitable across our team and aligns with current market trends. This role also qualifies for an extensive benefits package and generous paid time off.
