IT and Data Analysis Intern (Nature-Based Carbon Solutions)

Are you passionate about environmental sustainability and eager to gain experience in a dynamic role that involves IT support, front-end/back-end development, data visualization, and blockchain technology? Bionua is seeking a motivated student or postgraduate to join our team as an IT and Data Analysis Intern. This role will involve a wide range of technical tasks, initially focused on blockchain-related projects but evolving as business needs change. You will work closely with our Chief Technology Officer and other team members on exciting projects involving carbon removal and biodiversity restoration. Flexibility is key, as the position demands the ability to adapt quickly to emerging technologies and new projects, contributing to impactful environmental solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• IT Support & Development: Provide technical support for ongoing projects and assist with both front-end and back-end development as needed
• Data Import and Management: Organize and manage large datasets (e.g., CSV files) from various sources, ensuring data integrity and accuracy
• MRV (Measurement, Reporting, and Verification): Assist in carbon removal project assessments, baseline measurements, and monitoring activities
• Dataset Creation & Curation: Develop and maintain datasets for remote sensing and landcover mapping
• Blockchain Support: Support blockchain integration to track and verify Nature Capital Credits, contributing to data transparency and public registries
• Power BI Analysis: Create data visualizations and reports using Power BI to be displayed on Bionua's platform

Requirements
