Chief Risk Officer – Relocation to Riga or hybrid model

YOUR MISSION

Lead and optimize risk management across all Group and related countries. Oversee Risk department teams, ensuring data-driven decisions and effective risk processes. Collaborate with key stakeholders to enhance risk models, reporting, and strategic growth.

This position involves either relocating to Riga, where our HQ is located, or working in a hybrid model.

• Ensure and monitor the functionality of risk processes within the Group level (in all Group countries)

• Lead Risk department: Data Science, BI & DWH, Portfolio and Product, Analytics, Fraud, Debt Collection teams:
• coach and develop risk department employees
• make decisions on scoring models, cut-offs
• review credit limits, product pricing, setup, and application workflow
• monitor portfolio risk level & provide provisions methodology/calculations
• ensure Power BI reporting/DWH functionality & provide analytics support for other departments
• oversee the debt collection process

• Collaborate with other departments in relation to their needs in each country
• Collaborate with CEO's and risk departments in local countries regarding any risk-related questions
• Work closely with IT on the development of new functionality from Risk department perspective

YOUR PROFILE

• Higher degree in Finance, Math or related fields
• 10+ years experience as a Risk professional in finance field
• 5+ years experience of managerial experience
• Leadership and organizational abilities
• Solutions oriented with a curious and analytical mindset
• Ability to communicate in a timely manner with the Board/Executive on regulatory updates which may effect the business
• Proficiency in written and spoken English
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
