Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Platform Back End Engineer (with Golang) for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Poland. Our client is a Toronto-based technology company specializing in AI-powered healthcare consumer experience (CX) platforms. The company is developing systems that predict user behavior in health programs by aggregating historical engagement data into models. Additionally, they are working on personalizing user content by analyzing user profiles and previous interactions with content. These innovations aim to tailor health program recommendations and content delivery to individual needs. It offers health insurance, employee health benefits, digital health services, patient engagement and care, consumer health services, and other benefits. The company has evolved from serving employers to supporting payers, providers, and consumer health partners across the United States, Canada, and the Asia-Pacific region.
You’ll build web services and APIs, working primarily with Go and MongoDB. You work as part of a small cross-functional team to deliver features on the roadmap, as well as continually maintain and improve a specific area of the product. The Content Authoring and Configuration Tool Team is responsible for creating and maintaining a centralized venue for internal and external non-technical users to configure and manage the implementation. They also develop frameworks and services that enable capabilities to be configured quickly, predictably, and robustly. The squad partners with & supports teams across the organization to create these configuration tools.

Requirements

Requirements
- Experience working with server-side programming languages.
- Knowledge of modern web services architectures.
- Understanding building and maintaining automated test suites.
- Experience working on platform products is an asset.
- The following is the backend technical stack. Experience with these is preferred, although not strictly necessary in all cases:
- Golang;
- Kubernetes;
- GCP;
- MongoDB;
- FHIR, CHAPI;
- OAuth.
- Build, test, and maintain backend services and data storage.
- Debug production issues with services and data.
- Participate in technical design and planning discussions.
- Uphold standards for quality by performing code reviews, fixing bugs, creating automated tests, and monitoring performance.
- Adhere to all system operation policies, including but not limited to access control, encryption control, logging, change management, platform security, system configuration, physical, and incident management policies.
- Write high-quality code with automated test coverage.
- Deliver work on well-communicated timelines.
- Write correct and clean code with guidance and consistently follow stated best practices.
- Understand how their work fits into the team and company objectives.
- Prioritize tasks without getting caught up in unimportant details.
- Communicate assumptions and obtain clarification on tasks upfront to minimize the need for rework.
- Solicit feedback from others and give timely, helpful feedback to peers and managers.
- Provide compliance with Information Security Policies.
- Write and review code following Secure Coding Guidelines.
- Perform as an incident responder according to the Incident Response Policy.
