Our impact

PIPG Engineering supports Goldman Sachs cross asset structured products business and are responsible for delivering digital platforms and automation to our sales/traders and our client base. We design and build our highly scalable web platform, Marquee Structured Products -- a powerful, easy-to-use, collaborative tool that transforms trading of structured products. Marquee Structured Products supports the full trading lifecycle from idea generation and price discovery through primary and secondary trading and lifecycle management; making trading simple, transparent and more efficient.

Your impact

As a key Front-end developer within PIPG Engineering, at the forefront of shaping our client's experience by creating new technology driven businesses – using leading open source technologies. We are pursuing engineers who enjoy working in a client driven and agile environment and are excited by developing low latency, scalable and resilient solutions. As a PIPG Engineering you will have the opportunity to lead the effort on new and innovative areas within our platform and steering the technical direction of future projects.

Requirements

Must haves:

• Good foundational knowledge of Javascript, HTML and CSS
• Some exposure to modern frontend workflows, such as module bundlers (webpack), package managers (npm) and CI/CD pipelines (gitlab/Jenkins)
• Knowledge of good programming practices/design patterns
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Passion and drive for building high quality UI driven applications
  
  

Nice To Have

• Knowledge of React JS and Typescript
• Experience with data grid libraries such as ag-grid
• Appreciation and understanding of good UX principles
