The impact you’ll make

At Paribu, every team member plays a crucial role in driving innovation and delivering high-quality solutions. In role Cloud Engineer you will be responsible for;

• Contributing to the architectural design of cloud infrastructure, suggesting improvements and alternative technologies.
• Managing AWS accounts, organizational units (OUs), and service control policies (SCPs) to ensure an optimal account structure, security boundaries, and centralized management of access and billing.
• Designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines and automation workflows to improve cloud operations.
• Collaborating with team members on AWS cost optimization, cloud governance, and operational improvements.
• Building and maintaining cloud monitoring, alerting, and log collection systems to enhance performance, security, and operational visibility.
• Implementing security best practices, access controls, and encryption to protect cloud infrastructure while ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Key competencies

We believe skills and potential matter as much as experience. To thrive in this role, you should have;

• A minimum of a BS in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a similar field.
• 3+ years of experience in DevOps.
• Experience in designing and managing cloud-based infrastructures, primarily with AWS.Experience with Azure or GCP is a plus.
• Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Hands-on experience with containerization technologies like Kubernetes and Docker.
• Experience in setting up and managing monitoring, alerting, and log collection systems for security and operational insights.
• Understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, VPN, VPC, and cloud-specific networking services.
• Familiarity with cloud security best practices, identity and access management (IAM), and encryption techniques.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a passion for creating innovative cloud solutions.
• Excellent documentation skills, with the ability to meet project timelines and quality standards.
• Excellent command of English.
