The search algorithm team is responsible for Shopee’s product search. Our main mission is to continuously build world class search algorithms and become a power engine for the company's sustainable growth. We welcome passionate and experienced talents to join us and serve our customers from all over the world.
Job Description
- Responsible for building search ranking algorithms, including coarse ranking, precise ranking, mix-ranking and other algorithms
- Build and optimise Learning-To-Rank framework, improve Click-through rate/Conversion rate and overall ranking models using machine learning and deep learning techniques to enhance search quality
- Build real-time personalised search models using real-time personalised features to provide a high-quality personalised search experience
- Explore the application of reinforcement learning techniques in search, and dynamically and continuously optimize the ranking strategy based on user feedback
- Closely communicate with business teams and product managers to understand business requirements
- Continuously review and create innovative methods to improve existing search systems for a faster and more accurate search engine
- More than four years of relevant work experience in search and ranking
- Master degree or above in computer science, computational linguistics and other related majors
- Have excellent coding skills, hands-on online code development experience, and proficiency in at least one language among C++/Golang/Python/Java
