We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Analyst with proven experience in the retail industry, particularly in data analytics and executive-level presentations. This role requires a unique blend of administrative acumen, data literacy, and the ability to transform data into actionable business insights. You will play a key role in supporting day-to-day retail operations, compiling performance reports, developing visual dashboards, and delivering high-impact presentations to management.
Key Responsibilities:
Administrative & Operational Support:
Coordinate and manage daily administrative tasks across retail teams and leadership.
Organize meetings, take minutes, follow up on action items, and ensure timely communication across departments.
Maintain operational calendars, documentation, and task tracking systems.
Data Analytics & Reporting:
Collect, clean, and analyze retail data related to sales performance, inventory levels, customer behavior, and operational efficiency.
Monitor key retail KPIs (e.g., sell-through rates, stock turnover, average transaction value).
Develop and automate weekly/monthly performance dashboards and scorecards.
Presentation & Communication:
Prepare compelling presentations and reports for internal stakeholders and senior leadership using PowerPoint, Excel, or data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
Summarize complex data into clear, concise insights and actionable recommendations.
Support senior leaders during business reviews, quarterly meetings, and strategic planning sessions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Liaise with merchandising, marketing, finance, and IT teams to ensure accurate and timely data flow.
Support project management and implementation of new systems or processes across stores.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Data Analytics, Retail Management, or related field.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in an administrative or business analyst role, preferably within the retail industry.
Technical Skills:
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, charts).
Skilled in PowerPoint with a creative eye for storytelling and data presentation.
Experience with analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Google Data Studio.
Familiarity with ERP or retail systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle Retail, Shopify, POS systems) is a plus.
Soft Skills:
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
High attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
Preferred Qualifications:
Retail store operations or head office experience.
Exposure to consumer insights, CRM analytics, or omnichannel retail data.
Basic knowledge of SQL or other data querying tools is an advantage.
