Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and maintain Python-based applications and services.
- Integrate with PLCs, IoT devices, and industrial equipment via APIs or messaging protocols (e.g., MQTT, OPC UA).
- Develop data pipelines for real-time and batch processing (ETL/ELT).
- Collaborate with manufacturing engineers and system integrators to understand process requirements.
- Implement automation for system monitoring, reporting, and quality control.
- Ensure code quality through unit testing, version control, and documentation.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate closely with DevOps, QA, and IT teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Python in a production environment.
- Professional proficiency in English and French.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Strong understanding of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and SQL.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI, Jenkins).
- Understanding of message brokers and protocols (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka, MQTT).
- Proficiency with Linux environments and shell scripting.
