🎯 YOUR ROLE

We are looking for an experienced Freelance Product Owner to join one of Belgium’s leading logistics players. In this strategic role, you will turn product vision into a clear roadmap and actionable user stories. You operate at the crossroads of business, technology and customer experience. In so doing, you will develop digital solutions that reach millions and have a direct/visible impact with your work.

You will join a multidisciplinary team of developers, designers, analysts and stakeholders and actively drive value creation and continuous improvement. The organization is currently undergoing a digital transformation and you will join one of the core departments (operations, retail/POS, CRM and customer service).

Your responsibilities:

• Contribute to the roadmap and provide prioritization insights
• Own and manage the product backlog aligned with business goals
• Clearly define backlog items and make them actionable for the team
• Identify and manage dependencies with platforms and other products
• Facilitate and plan sprints and iterations
• Refine features with relevant stakeholders
• Empower the product team to deliver high value without overload
• Collaborate closely with the Product Manager to implement feedback loops and track impact
• Ensure quality across all stages (functional, technical and compliance)
• Act as a bridge between business, IT and customer experience

Your skills and experience:

• 5+ years of experience in agile environments as a Product Owner
• Experience in the logistics, supply chain or utilities industry is a big plus
• Strong ability to connect business needs with tech capabilities
• Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
• Customer-oriented mindset and data-driven decision making
• Fluent in Dutch or French, with strong command of English
• Analytical, structured, and eager to take ownership
