Automotive Platform Engineer

WE ARE LOOKING FOR Automotive Platform Engineer

We are looking for software developers focused on low-level Android development. Role is to develop, optimize and maintain automotive infotainment systems for one of our valued customers. You will play a key role in implementing system services, resolving stability and performance issues and integrating new hardware support across various platforms.

Required Qualifications

• BSc/MSc in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on embedded systems.

• Strong proficiency in C and C++, with a solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles.

• Knowledge of automotive standards and protocols.

• Familiarity with Android framework and development environment. Knowledge of Android Automotive OS is a plus.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with experience analyzing root causes of system issues.

• Experience with QNX or real-time operating systems is a plus.
  
  

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Be part of the Infotainment Platform team to implement and optimize various parts of the infotainment software stack.

• Resolve stability and performance issues in the infotainment system through analyzing and documenting the root causes in detail, developing robust solutions and test cases.

• Increase stability on the overall platform and find tools to improve stability.

• Work with various cross-functional teams to bring up and integrate new board support packages provided by external SoC vendors.

• You are an active team worker, pro-active and own good communications skills.
