Salary : €60k - €65k

We're working with a dynamic digital company in the travel sector that is looking to expand its backend development team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated PHP developer with a passion for clean code, innovation, and collaborative problem-solving.

What You’ll Bring:

• A degree in Computer Science or equivalent IT training
• Initial experience in backend development and solid understanding of OOP
• Strong knowledge of PHP and MySQL; Linux shell familiarity is a plus
• Interest in DevOps and software architecture
• A digital mindset and curiosity for emerging technologies, including generative AI
• Team-oriented with strong communication skills and a hands-on approach
• Fluent German and good English language skills

What You’ll Do:

• Develop and improve backend applications for a leading multilingual travel platform
• Collaborate with frontend teams and external partners, including integration of REST APIs
• Drive product enhancements and technical implementation across backend systems
• Help evolve the tech stack for long-term scalability and reliability
• Leverage AI tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot, Cursor AI) to streamline development and ideation
• Work closely with product managers and other tech teams to bring new features to life
