Network Security Engineer

Barden are delighted to partner with our client, a rapidly expanding retailer to assist in their search for an experienced Network Security Engineer to join their IT Operations team.

About The Role:

• Oversee multi-site WAN operations while collaborating effectively with third-party MSPs.
• Implement and maintain robust VPN solutions, firewalls and network security protocols.
• Lead critical infrastructure projects including network upgrades and cloud migrations.
• Balance BAU support (50%) with strategic project work (50%).
• Develop and maintain comprehensive network documentation and compliance standards.

About The Person:

• 3+ years' hands-on experience.
• Strong technical expertise with Cisco technologies, Azure cloud and firewall solutions.
• Proven experience managing distributed networks in retail or multi-site environments.
• Proactive problem-solver with excellent stakeholder management capabilities.
