Full Stack Developer (Frontend focus) - Dubai - Crypto Trading Firm

A highly successful crypto trading firm is actively looking for a Frontend Developer to join their team and build out and optimise UIs for their core OTC desk.

The firm is a startup of around 100 people, funded by one of the largest investment banks in the world, with offices in Dubai and London. They specialise in crypto trading (prop trading and market-making across centralised and decentralised exchanges), asset management, and venture investments in the world of Web3 and blockchain.

Having launched late last year, they have seen significant success and are now expanding teams across their business in both locations.

This role will address the needs of the OTC desk—building UIs and dashboards for trading systems. You will work on frontend design as well as some backend implementation, interacting directly with clients, traders, tech teams, and more.

They are seeking an experienced developer with a background in live streaming data and building dashboards or UIs in an electronic trading firm, along with strong TypeScript and JavaScript programming skills. Experience in a crypto trading firm is beneficial but not required.

Compensation

Around AED 40,000 per month plus performance related bonuses of up to 50%

This a hybrid role - likely 3 or 4 days in the office.

Requirements

• Proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript
• Exposure to AWS
• 2+ years’ experience working in an electronic trading environment (FX, Rates, or Crypto)
• Experience building and implementing UIs/dashboards
• Experience with live streaming data

• Building and implementing UIs and dashboards for core trading systems
• Leading frontend design and implementation, with some backend involvement
