Card Issuing Product Manager

Our client, a fast-growing Electronic Money Institution (EMI) licensed by the Bank of Lithuania, is looking for a Card Issuing Project Manager to join their dynamic product team and lead the evolution of their card services.

💼 What You’ll Do

As Card Issuing Project Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind the development, optimisation, and expansion of card services. From launching new card programs to enhancing existing ones, you’ll coordinate cross-functional efforts and ensure project success in a fast-paced fintech environment.

🔍 Responsibilities:

• Lead Card Product Development: Manage the full project lifecycle of card products (Mastercard focus) — from concept to go-live and beyond.
• Own the Roadmap: Define and maintain the strategic roadmap for card products in alignment with company goals and market trends.
• Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with compliance, tech, operations, marketing, and third-party vendors to ensure smooth project execution.
• Vendor Management: Oversee relationships with Mastercard, card processors, and card manufacturing providers.
• Regulatory & Technical Oversight: Ensure products meet regulatory requirements and are aligned with technical specifications.
• Monitor Performance: Analyse usage metrics and customer feedback to drive product improvements and increase adoption.
• Customer-Centric Approach: Ensure seamless customer experience across card issuing, activation, usage, and support.

🎓 Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in card product/project management in fintech, banking, or payments.
• Hands-on experience with Mastercard or VISA issuing products (BIN setup, card design, 3D Secure, dispute handling, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of EMI operations, SEPA/SWIFT payment rails, and cardholder lifecycle.
• Exceptional organisational and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Experience working with external providers and regulatory bodies is a strong plus.
• Proficiency in tools like Jira, Confluence, or similar project management platforms.
• Fluency in English is required; additional European languages are a plus.
