Information Technology Specialist (أخصائي تقنية المعلومات)

Job Objective;

Oversee the strategic planning procedures for the Information and Communications Technology, guarantee management and supervision of the enhancement of new and significant IT system improvements, and supervise projects that align with ADAFSA's strategy.

The post holder will be reporting to (IT Applications Section Head).

Duties and Responsibilities

• Comply with ADAFSA's policies and procedures and the section's strategy.
• Manage the full software development life cycle
• Participate in implementing and managing application projects.
• Participate in requirements gathering with end users.
• Review and ensure completeness of documentation for Applications Department projects.
• Participate in designing, developing and testing solutions and ensuring compliance with the standards approved by the Authority.
• Manage and monitor development progress on internal applications.
• Prepare follow-up reports on indicators, develop and track team performance.
• Continuous review and understanding of the Authority’s services to develop smart solutions and applications.
• Communicating with organizational units within the Authority to identify needs for smart applications and solutions to develop, and enhancing electronic connectivity operations in accordance with the requirements of the smart government and the Authority’s strategy.
• Supervising, following up and ensuring that standards and specifications are set for the solutions and applications used in order to achieve the Authority’s objectives.
• Supervising, following up, ensuring the readiness, safety and security of applications and following up on their performance.
• Supervising and following up on providing technical support to users of solutions and applications and training them to use the programs optimall
• Supervising, following up and ensuring the development and updating of applications to operate solutions
• Developing the Authority’s digital transformation plan and following up on measuring its capabilities with the competent authorities.
• Responsible for implementing procedures related to raising data quality and data maturity level.
• Responsible for updating procedures and processes related to the business of the organizational unit to address data issues and challenges.
• Awareness of the requirements of continuity management systems and the regulatory controls for the Authority’s business risk management system

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Security or a similar discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience within the field.
