To strengthen their R&D team in Slovenia, we are looking for a Lead Embedded Systems Engineer who will play a key role in the design and development of embedded software for high-tech devices. Key responsibilities:

• Design and implementation of embedded software for next-generation smart products.
• Testing, analysis, and debugging of embedded systems.
• Planning and execution of feasibility studies and technical analyses.
• Creation of supporting technical documentation for decision-making processes.
• Technical support and collaboration with key customers and the sales team.
• Providing in-depth consulting on customer projects and driving continuous improvement.
• Leading problem-solving tasks related to product quality when needed.
• Contributing to the innovation process by introducing internal and external ideas.

Qualifications:

• University degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field (minimum Level VI/2).
• Solid experience in embedded software development, including C programming for RTOS environments.
• Experience with Python and debugging tools for embedded systems.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in embedded software engineering.
• Proven leadership ability and structured, responsible approach to work.
• Strong command of English (spoken and written).
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.

Place of work: the role is based in Kranj, Slovenia.
