Test Automation Specialist

JD:

Responsibilities:

• Work closely together with business analysts and solution architects to fully understand the requirements and solution to be tested

• Work closely with manual testers to capture test payloads for new functionality and request what needs to be tested

• Secure testability of the backlog/user stories in the backlog grooming process

• Be part of the agile team with joint responsibility to deliver quality secured features to production

• Continue to develop our regression test tool by adding new features

• Add new tests in the regression test tool for new functionality

• Adapt and configure existing tests to test only what is necessary (find a good balance)

• Executing regression on demand and report defects

• Monitoring and making sure the regression test reports are kept "green" without defects

Knowledge, experience, skills etc:

• Believes in test-driven development and takes the responsibility of securing test quality in the team

• Experience in agile test process and test automation

• Experience in setting up automated tests with standard and home built tools

• Experience in containerized execution models (kubernetes)

• Experience in testing of applications with event driven patterns

• Experience of working in DevOps teams, knowledgeable within DevOps philosophy

• Coding and scripting experience (the application is built in Kotlin, scripting is typically in Python)
