The IKEA Franchisor, Inter IKEA Systems B.V., is the worldwide owner of the IKEA Concept and has the responsibility to ensure that the IKEA Concept stays attractive and competitive while enabling growth and a profitable business for IKEA franchisees.

Retail Operation Solutions & Support is an integral part of Inter IKEA Retail Concept and consists of a team of people with a passion for retail and competence in business and technology. We are moving into a new chapter with an ambition to provide IKEA retailers with a set of digital products and services that are integrated into the IKEA value chain and support the omnichannel IKEA Concept. We call this the Core offer and it covers key capabilities for retail operations.

About You

Experience:

  • 3–5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in a digital product environment.
  • Proven background in agile methodologies.
  • Experience working in product teams, collaborating closely with Product Owners, Developers, UX, and SMEs.
  • Familiarity with enterprise-scale platforms (e.g., ERP like D365 F&O, retail systems, or e-commerce platforms).
  • Understanding of retail processes and customer journeys is a strong advantage.

Skills

Core Business Analysis Skills

  • Strong in requirements elicitation, refinement, and documentation (e.g., Epics, Features, User Stories).
  • Skilled in process mapping
  • Ability to translate high-level business needs into product backlog items and break it down to sizeable work item

Agile & Product Thinking

  • Deep understanding of Agile mindset and iterative delivery.
  • Familiarity with product life cycle, MVP thinking, and experimentation.
  • Works collaboratively with cross-functional product teams.

Soft Skills

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Proactive, structured, and a problem-solver.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and making sense of complex environments.
  • Capable of influencing without authority

Tools Knowledge

  • Tools like Jira, Confluence, Miro, and analytics tools
  • D365 F&O, or other retail/finance systems is a plus.

About The Job

  • Act as the link between business and product teams, ensuring clear understanding of value, needs, and priorities.
  • Work closely with the team to shape and refine the product backlog, ensuring readiness for development.
  • Support discovery by identifying business problems, opportunities for value, and customer impact.
  • Facilitate requirements workshops, interviews, and process analysis with stakeholders.
  • Help define acceptance criteria and validate outcomes against requirements.
  • Contribute to the definition of OKRs.
  • Work across multiple stakeholders including markets, retail, operations, finance, and other product/platform teams.

Additional Information

This is a full-time role (40 hours per week) located in Malmö, Sweden. You will report to a domain Product Manager, Retail Operations Solution & Support, Retail Concept, Inter IKEA.
