Head of Cyber Security – Dubai, UAE
Responsibilities
Strategy, Planning, Implementation
- Strategic Development and Refinement of the Cyber Security Program.
- Oversight of Cyber Security Strategy Execution.
Security Architecture & Risk Management
- Design, oversee, and continuously improve a secure IT architecture.
- Identify, assess, prioritise, and manage cybersecurity risks, continuously enhancing assessment methodologies and pinpointing vulnerabilities.
- Implement and recommend technical controls and security solutions in line with security policies.
Governance
- Spearhead the evolution and execution of the Cyber Security Governance framework, encompassing information security strategies, solutions, policies, and standards.
- Architect reporting mechanisms and risk evaluation protocols to bolster organisational defence against security threats and ensure compliance.
- Evaluate the potential ramifications and probability of identified cybersecurity risks.
Required Experience:
- Experience in information security with a combination of risk management, information security and IT-related responsibilities
- Clear understanding of the evolving needs within the cybersecurity function and knowledge of information security best practices, standards, and frameworks
- Knowledge of common information security management frameworks, such as ISO/IEC 27001, and NIST
- Practical experience in Information Security Risk Management and Threat Management
- Ability to champion Information and Cyber Security principles at an enterprise level
- Experience in developing IT roadmaps for specific business or technology areas to embed Cyber Security practices
