IT Security Manager - Cyber Security

Work Location: UAE, Dubai office based with adhoc travel to Northern Iraq

Estimated Salary: AED 25K to 30K per month total salary cash package + Family Medical Insurance + Family Annual Flights + Schooling Allowance (up to AED 18K per child, per annum, capped at 3 children) + Bonus (discretionary, performance based)

Reporting to: Head of ICT

About the Role

Taking ownership of the security operations, governance, and risk management functions across the energy business. You will serve as the single point of contact for all security-related matters, ensuring that security practices are effectively embedded into IT operations, applications, cloud environments, and third-party services.

Technically strong on cyber security and a process-oriented leader with the ability to manage day-to-day IT security operations, whilst providing strategic input to the leadership team.

You will work closely with ICT, Infrastructure, Applications, and Vendor teams to monitor, detect, and re-mediate security risks while ensuring compliance with security frameworks.

Required Profile

• 15+ years of hands-on IT and cyber security experience, including 3+ years in a managerial role.
• Strong technical expertise in infrastructure, cloud security, application security, and security operations.
• Experience managing MSSP, SOC, vulnerability management, and remediation programs.
• Proven experience in risk management, vulnerability lifecycle, and incident response.
• Excellent knowledge of security governance, ISO 27001, NIST CSF, regulatory compliance, and audit requirements.
• Experience working with tools such as SIEM, EDR, IAM, DLP, MDM and cloud security solutions.

Qualifications

• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or similar.
