As a PHP Mid-Level Developer, you will engage in developing and maintaining web applications utilizing the PHP programming language. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including designers, product managers, and other developers to ensure projects are completed with the highest standards. Your primary responsibilities will include writing clean, optimized code and ensuring seamless functionality by integrating various back-end services and databases.
Essential Tasks
As a PHP Mid-Level Developer, you will engage in developing and maintaining web applications utilizing the PHP programming language. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including designers, product managers, and other developers to ensure projects are completed with the highest standards. Your primary responsibilities will include writing clean, optimized code and ensuring seamless functionality by integrating various back-end services and databases.
Essential Tasks
- Develop, test, and maintain web applications in PHP
- Troubleshoot and debug existing applications
- Collaborate with front-end developers and designers to integrate user-facing elements
- Optimize code for maximum speed and scalability
- Participate in code reviews and team meetings
- Strong proficiency in PHP and familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases
- Knowledge of front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript
- Experience with version control systems such as Git
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to think algorithmically
- Minimum 3 years of experience in PHP development
- Demonstrable experience in building and maintaining complex applications
- Experience with PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Opportunity to lead projects and mentor junior developers
- Potential to advance to Senior Developer roles
- Engaging in continuous learning and development programs
- Regular collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Communicating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Providing assistance and support to team members

- Ensuring quality and reliability in product delivery
- Certifications in PHP or related web development technologies are a plus
- Training in Agile methodologies and project management can be advantageous
