Job Summary (iOS Developer – MTA Headquarters)

Location: 2 Broadway, NY, NY 10004 - MTA Headquarters

  • Senior-level iOS Developer position (11+ years of experience required)
  • Requires Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related field
  • Responsible for application design, development, and technical ownership of assigned tasks
  • Vet and clarify technical requirements with business stakeholders
  • Debug and resolve software issues in a timely manner
  • Assist and mentor team members with coding and technical challenges
  • Manage data storage and persistence using Core Data/Swift Data
  • Create and maintain technical documentation
  • Integrate APIs and handle data parsing (JSON, web services)
  • Develop and implement UI/UX designs and wireframes using SwiftUI
  • Integrate Firebase and other cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Utilize version control (Git) and follow software design patterns (MVC, MVVM, Singleton)
  • Work with Xcode, Swift, Objective-C, Grand Central Dispatch, and multithreading
  • Conduct unit testing, code reviews, and ensure quality assurance
  • Familiarity with payment gateways and external accessory integration
  • Use CI/CD tools for continuous integration and deployment
  • Excellent analytical, testing, debugging, and communication skills required
  • Experience with C++, PHP, .NET, C#, JavaScript, Oracle SQL, and AI tools is a plus
  • Expected to work independently, lead tasks, and collaborate effectively within a team
