Clearance Requirements: Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a specialized state-issued license (includes 15-year background check)


Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned IT professional to manage and support critical infrastructure within a dynamic onsite operations environment. This role requires deep technical expertise across networking, systems administration, and information security. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of hands-on experience working in Cisco-based environments and supporting high-availability systems with strict compliance and uptime requirements.


Responsibilities:

  • Deploy, configure, and maintain physical and virtual servers, Cisco routers/switches, and other core infrastructure components
  • Monitor performance and resolve issues across systems, ensuring consistent uptime and operational stability
  • Administer firewalls and collaborate with internal teams to uphold cybersecurity standards
  • Manage backup, disaster recovery, and redundancy protocols
  • Provide end-user technical support for hardware, software, and connectivity
  • Perform ongoing system assessments and risk analysis; recommend improvements
  • Support on-premise data center operations and regulated IT systems
  • Align with enterprise IT standards and enforce corporate policies and procedures
  • Mentor junior IT personnel and promote best practices in network and system management
  • Maintain system documentation and protect sensitive business data


Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in IT networking and systems administration
  • Strong proficiency with Cisco networking technologies and enterprise IT environments
  • Experience in firewall management, Active Directory, and backup solutions
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain a specialized state license (background check required; employer-sponsored)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience
  • Must be 18+ and authorized to work in the U.S.

  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as operational needs dictate
  • Professional demeanor and discretion when handling confidential information
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and navigate large commercial facilities
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, customer-oriented, and highly regulated environment


Work Environment:

This is a fully onsite position within a regulated, high-traffic commercial venue. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced setting with variable noise levels and frequent face-to-face interaction.
