Network Architect

We are seeking an experienced Network Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in delivering robust, scalable and secure network architectures across various technologies, including DC Networking, WAN, LAN, Wireless and Hybrid Cloud environments. This role involves high-level design, collaboration with the wider design community and providing expert support to ensure the successful implementation and ongoing stability of enterprise systems.

The successful candidate will work closely with our customer, and they'll be expected to work in a hybrid model, working from our customer's Dublin office at least once a week.

Required Skills

• 3+ years’ experience as a network architect
• Proven ability to deliver architectures that incorporate high availability, operations supportability and scalability

Demonstrate experience designing network architectures in one or more of the following:

• DC Networking
• WAN (MPLS, DMVPN or SDWAN)
• LAN
• Wireless
• Network Segmentation
• Hybrid Cloud networking
• Network Management and Monitoring systems.
• Cyber security planning and design

Key responsibilities & duties include:

• Works with the lead architect and performs a full range of complex network designs encompassing multiple technologies and technology layers within a single, enterprise network
• Provides High Level Design documentation, jointly delivers low level design with the delivery team
• Works with the wider design community to support network interests in other workstreams
• Works with the Cyber and Compliance teams to ensure secure, compliant design
• Provides post design installation, configuration and tier 3 support for operational systems in the enterprise
• Support to systems including local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), Cloud and Production systems
• Provides escalation and support to engineering for critical business issues
• Designs for IPV4 environments
• Designs management, monitoring and support systems for Networks
• Researches network trends
