Fullstack Developer – Contract – Energy Trading / Financial Services – London (Hybrid)
📍 Location: London (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)
💰 Rate: £550–£650/day (Inside IR35)
📅 Contract: 6 months initially
Cititec is working with a leading energy trading firm that’s building a cutting-edge post-trade platform in AWS, and they’re looking for a Fullstack Developer to join their team.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll be part of a fast-paced Agile environment, helping build out a platform that powers live intraday P&L reporting and digitised front-office workflows. You’ll be working alongside a cross-functional team of developers, quants, and traders.
Responsibilities will include:
- Designing and building secure, scalable applications using modern front-end and back-end technologies
- Collaborating with teams to deliver effective solutions that align with business needs and architectural standards
- Improve CI/CD pipelines to support efficient feature delivery
- Produce high-level designs aligned with infrastructure, cloud, and security requirements
Key Requirements:
- Hands-on experience in Python development
- Solid experience with React/TypeScript or Svelte
- Confident building secure, scalable front-end applications
- Comfortable working with APIs such as GraphQL and REST
- Experience with AWS services like S3, ECS, or AppSync
- Familiarity with Kafka, PostgreSQL, and microservices architecture
- Agile mindset and strong team player
- Experience within the commodities trading or financial industry is essential
