Technical Project Manager - Web Security Solutions

Looking for a Technical Project Manager - Web Security Solutions (WAF) for a Global E-commerce Organisation for a minimum 4 month contract.

About the Role:

We're seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager. This role will focus on leading Web Application Firewall (WAF) implementations across our global digital infrastructure. Ideally with experience in Akamai, Imperva, Cloudflare.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead complex WAF deployment projects utilising either Akamai, Imperva or Cloudflare technologies

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Security, Development, and Operations

• Manage project schedules, resources, and budgets

• Develop and maintain project documentation and status reporting

• Drive risk management and mitigation strategies

• Facilitate stakeholder communication and engagement

Essential Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years' experience in technical project management

• Demonstrated experience managing WAF implementations, ideally Akamai, Imperva or Cloudflare

• Strong understanding of web security principles and best practices

• Proven track record delivering enterprise-scale security projects

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

• Relevant project management certification (PMP, Prince2, or equivalent)

Desirable Skills:

• Akamai, Imperva or Cloudflare

• Experience with agile methodologies

• Knowledge of OWASP security frameworks

• Background in e-commerce or financial services

• Understanding of CDN technologies

• Security certifications (CISSP, CISM, or similar)
