AI:AT is a joint project of AIT and Advanced Computing Austria . It brings together top-level expertise in high-performance computing, artificial intelligence, and data ecosystems, creating an interdisciplinary innovation environment for research, development, start-ups, and industrial projects.
AI:AT – the AI Factory Austria – provides access to cutting-edge AI infrastructure, promotes trustworthy AI and ethical standards, and serves as a hub for networking with national and European partners. The goal is to work with partners from industry and public institutions to develop and implement forward-looking AI technologies and viable AI solutions.
As part of the collaboration within the AI Factory Austria, INiTS – Vienna’s High Tech Incubator will delegate experts to the AI Factory Austria. For our location in Vienna, we are seeking a:
AI:AT - AI Factory Austria
- You lead interdisciplinary innovation sprints to co-develop AI solutions and MVPs with startups and domain experts, applying agile and user-centered approaches.
- Design and facilitate innovation sprints using frameworks like Design Thinking and agile methodologies.
- Guide cross-functional teams in ideating, prototyping, and validating AI-driven solutions.
- Evaluate feasibility and strategic alignment of AI prototypes and support next steps.
- Ensure compliance with AI ethics and regulatory principles throughout the sprint process.
- Capture results and derive insights to inform future development and scaling efforts.
- Deep understanding of AI technologies (ML, NLP, CV, etc.) and their application potential
- Experience in leading agile innovation processes and cross-sectoral co-creation
- Strong communication skills to bridge technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to motivate teams and maintain focus under tight innovation timelines
- Awareness of AI ethics and Human-Centered Design principles

- The annual gross salary is based on the collective agreement for information and consulting. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plans.

- The position is funded by the AI Factory Austria until June 2028. An extension beyond this period may be possible depending on future project developments.
