Join TelstraSuper as a Senior Mobile App Developer and play a pivotal role in enhancing our mobile application. We are looking for an innovative and experienced developer to lead the charge in integrating TelstraSuper’s enterprise architecture with industry best practices.

Reporting to the Technical Lead Software Engineer, this new created position requires providing technical expertise across all aspects of mobile app development, particularly in release and delivery management to minimize business risks. The developer will introduce innovative approaches to mobile app development that align with technological advancements, while also training support staff and ensuring ongoing support for the application.

Additional responsibilities:

• Designing and maintaining scalable applications for both iOS and Android platforms, utilizing software architecture patterns for efficient code, and implementing reactive frameworks like Combine and Coroutines to enhance app performance
• Overseeing the end-to-end rollout process to respective App Stores
• Manage the entire application lifecycle from concept through ongoing support, ensuring high-quality delivery
• Diagnosing and resolving bugs to uphold code quality and security standards, recommending usability enhancements
• Collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams including developers, designers, and product managers

About You

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Mobile App Developer who is ready to make a significant impact at TelstraSuper. The ideal candidate will hold tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or a related field, complemented by at least 8 years of hands-on experience in mobile app development.

You will be proficient in programming languages such as Swift, Kotlin, and Java, and have expertise in frameworks like React Native or Flutter. Your familiarity with development tools, including Xcode, Android Studio, and version control systems, will set you apart as an exceptional candidate.

In addition to your technical prowess, you should have a proven track record of successful app launches, with links to live applications in the App Store and Google Play Store that showcase your skills.

Your experience should encompass the full application lifecycle—from concept through deployment and maintenance—along with a solid understanding of CI/CD practices, particularly using Azure DevOps. We value candidates who prioritize security, performance, and user experience. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are essential, as well as excellent interpersonal skills and a customer-focused service ethic.
