Application System Engineer (d/f/m)

50! This is the number of tech transfers we want to deliver in the next years to give patients access to our high-quality and affordable Biosimilars.

We are seeking an Application & System Engineer who will be responsible for compliant implementation, operation and maintenance of system / application assigned as an owner including system availability, trouble-shooting and user training.

• Automation & System Management: Own, develop, and implement automation solutions tailored to manufacturing needs, including Software Change Controls and automation investment projects.

• Project Execution & Rollout: Lead automation project execution at the site level—ensuring alignment with cost, schedule, and technical goals—while managing orders/contracts and coordinating with engineering networks.

• Operational Technology (OT): Oversee stability and performance of OT systems, tools, and applications; provide troubleshooting support during operations, commissioning, and validation phases.

• Documentation & Compliance: Maintain and verify engineering documentation (e.g. URS, xDS, validation), implement GOPs, and create site/regional SOPs and templates as needed.

• Data & System Entry: Enter and manage master data in CMMS, including confirmations and technician time allocations.

• Audit & HSE Support: Support internal/external audits and ensure HSE tasks and requirements are properly implemented and monitored.

• Training & Development: Train junior engineers, technicians, and operators; manage training curriculum and take ownership of continuous personal and professional development.

• Continuous Improvement & KPI Delivery: Drive equipment reliability and availability, resolve automation-related deviations, and execute other assigned tasks tied to KPIs and annual objectives.

What you will bring to the role:

• Degree in engineering, IT (Dipl. Ing. / M. Sc. / B. Sc.) or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of engineering experience in IT application systems or automation in chemical or pharmaceutical industry.
• Fluent in English and proficient in local language.
