About GirlsCodeToo
Since 2021, GirlsCodeToo has empowered over 3,700 girls across Switzerland through more than 285 workshops and camps in coding, robotics, cybersecurity, and 3D printing. Our mission is to close the gender gap in technology by inspiring the next generation of female tech leaders. We offer multilingual programs (DE/FR/IT/EN) throughout Switzerland, supported by partners such as ETH Zurich, Google, SATW, and the Canton of Zurich.
With newly secured government funding, GirlsCodeToo is entering a key implementation phase. We are expanding our 3D Coding Workshops nationally and scaling our innovative “Mother-Daughter” format.
We are looking for a dynamic and organized Project Manager to oversee the delivery of our national workshop rollout and manage critical partnerships and grant commitments. This role is ideal for someone passionate about education, tech, and gender equality—who thrives on turning vision into action through planning, coordination, and hands-on leadership.
Project Management & Strategy Execution
- Lead the implementation of a multi-phase project supported by the EBG and other grantors.
- Plan and manage timelines, resources, and deliverables for the national rollout of GirlsCodeToo’s programs.
- Coordinate with regional leads to ensure consistent and high-quality delivery of workshops in German, French, and Italian-speaking regions.
Stakeholder & Partner Coordination
- Maintain and expand relationships with key institutional and corporate partners (e.g., ETHZ, Google, SATW).
- Represent the organization in meetings with public and private stakeholders.
- Support and contribute to grant proposals, impact reporting, and funding renewals.
Team & Program Oversight
- Supervise a growing team of instructors, part-time leads, and volunteers across Switzerland.
- Ensure alignment of content, curriculum, and operations with GirlsCodeToo’s mission and quality standards.
- Step in to support workshop delivery or training when needed.
Operations & Reporting
- Monitor progress against KPIs and oversee operational budget tracking.
- Ensure timely reporting to funding bodies and alignment with grant obligations.
- Collaborate closely with the board on governance matters and strategic planning.
Must-Haves
- Proven experience managing complex projects in education, NGOs, social impact, or a similar field.
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders across languages and cultures.
- Comfortable juggling multiple priorities and working both independently and collaboratively.
- Fluency in German and French; English is essential. Italian is a plus.
Nice-to-Have
- Experience with fundraising or writing grant proposals.
- Background in MINT education or tech-focused initiatives.
- Familiarity with working in multilingual, decentralized teams.
- A meaningful role at the intersection of education, tech, and social change.
- A hybrid work setup, with the option to work from Zurich or Lausanne.
- The opportunity to shape a high-visibility national program with real impact.
- A supportive board and a mission-driven team with deep commitment to gender equity in tech.
