Software Engineer

Important Note: There are 2 positions. 1 is for level 4 (7+ Years of experience) and another one is for level 2 software engineer (3 Years of experience).

Notes: SR Role - This person will be a support person / guiding the team on coding standards and reviewing the designs - and providing suggestions on improvements. This person will also code as well!

Job Description: An Engineer 4 is part of a key team of Client professionals that applies scientific, mathematical and social principles to design, build, and maintain technology products, devices, systems and solutions. These technology products and solutions provide amazing customer experiences while meeting the needs of the business. The scope, responsibility and accountability is at the function level.

A day in the life…

Design and collaborate with local and partner teams.
Test all scenarios and confirm to quality standards.
Identify performance issues; apply knowledge of security coding practices and secure system fundamentals (e.g., cross-site scripting, security certificates).
Demonstrate thorough knowledge of information technology concepts issues, trends and best practices as they relate to the discipline/practice.
Demonstrate advanced knowledge of specific needs of a major line of business and the related set of applications, systems or functions.

7+ years of professional experience in practice area.

Skills: A successful engineer in this position will:

Have experience on the tech stack – Backend, data engineering, Devops, support.
Be an expert in backend development, proficient in k8s, Kafka, AWS ecosystems, comfortable designing and implementing Rest / GraphQL services on Java / Spring boot.
Have exposure to system design, be able to think comprehensively about integrations with other components and / or systems
