JPC - 4983 - WIFI Engineer

Job Responsibilities
Network Engineer - Level 1 Support Team responsible for technical support and troubleshooting of network-related issues (LAN,WAN,WLAN,SDWAN). Key Responsibilities: Provide Level 1 technical support to external clients, troubleshooting network-related issues through phone, email, or remote assistance tools. Assist with maintenance of network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points. Collaborate with the Level 2 support team to escalate complex issues and engage in problem resolution activities. Monitor network performance, identify potential bottlenecks, and propose solutions to optimize network operations and improve overall performance. Conduct network troubleshooting and diagnostic tests to identify and resolve connectivity and performance issues. Respond to network outages and incidents, following established protocols and procedures to minimize downtime and maintain service level agreements (SLAs). Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, equipment inventory, and support activities. Collaborate with other teams, such as system administrators and security specialists, to ensure the smooth integration of network components with existing systems and applications. Assist in the planning and implementation of network upgrades, expansions, and migrations. Participate in on-call rotations and provide after-hours support as needed willingness to work in 24X7 NOC Operations. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. 1-3 years of experience in network engineering or technical support roles, preferably in a customer-facing environment. Strong knowledge of LAN, WAN,WLAN and TCP/IP protocols. Familiarity with network devices and technologies, such as routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs,SDWAN and wireless networks. Working knowledge of network monitoring tools and diagnostic utilities. Proficiency in troubleshooting common network problems, such as connectivity issues, data transmission errors, and performance degradation. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical users. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a detail-oriented approach to troubleshooting and resolving issues. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.10. Industry leading certifications are a plus.
