Senior Frontend Engineer

Job Description

My client is a global leader in financial infrastructure and they are seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to lead the development of high-performance systems powering critical trading and data platforms.

You will be part of an Agile, cross-functional team delivering high-quality UI solutions for internal trading systems and external clients and drive end-to-end feature development with a strong focus on performance and scalability, while contributing to the team's growth and best engineering practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• 5+ years of hands-on software development experience within financial or trading environments
• Deep expertise in modern UI development using React/ Typescript/ JavaScript, and HTML/CSS
• Strong grasp of Object-Oriented design principles
• Experienced in writing unit and end-to-end tests using tools such as Jest, Selenium, Cucumber, or equivalent frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with UI libraries like Material UI or Ant Design
• Proficient in crafting user-centric UI/UX designs with a strong emphasis on cross-browser compatibility and consistency.
• Experience with monorepo setups (e.g., NX, TurboRepo) and Node.js is a good to have
• Exposure to Figma or similar for design collaboration is a plus
• Knowledge of .NET, relational databases, or API development is highly desirable
