AI Investment Associate

We are seeking an AI Investment Associate to join our venture investment arm at Crypto.com, a leading cryptocurrency exchange. The role focuses on identifying, evaluating, and executing investment opportunities in artificial intelligence companies and technologies, while working within our dynamic crypto-native environment.

• Source and evaluate AI investment opportunities across various sectors
• Conduct thorough due diligence on potential investments
• Prepare investment memoranda and present recommendations to the investment committee
• Monitor portfolio companies and support their growth initiativesBuild and maintain relationships with founders, investors, and AI industry experts
  

• Venture capital or private equity experience focusing on AI investments
• Demonstrated track record of successful deal execution in AI/ML sector
• Experience in technical due diligence of AI companies
  

• Strong understanding of AI/ML technologies, frameworks, and development
• Ability to evaluate AI technical architectures and implementation strategies
• Familiarity with current AI market trends and competitive landscape
  

• Native or professional fluency in English
• Business-level proficiency in Mandarin Chinese
• Based in Hong Kong or willing to relocate
  
  

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in Computer Science, AI, Engineering, or related field preferred
  

• Intellectual curiosity and willingness to learn about cryptocurrency and blockchain technology
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Adaptability to fast-paced environment and emerging technologies
