Lead Flutter Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Flutter Software Engineer with expertise in Android development using Kotlin to join our collaborative team.

As we migrate our native application to Flutter, you will play a critical role in leading the development process and ensuring seamless integration while upholding the highest standards of performance and quality.

The remote option applies exclusively to candidates working from any location within Ukraine.

Responsibilities

• Lead the migration of a native Android application to Flutter, ensuring efficient transitions
• Develop high-performing, reusable, and reliable code using Flutter and Dart
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers and backend developers, to define and ship new features
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues promptly to maintain smooth app performance
• Optimize application performance for speed, scalability, and responsiveness
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers, promoting best practices and continuous improvement
• Stay informed about trends and advancements in Flutter, Dart, and Android/Kotlin development
• Ensure reliability and code quality with the implementation of automated testing
• Contribute to architectural decisions and guide the application's technical direction
• Maintain clear technical documentation for future reference
  
  
  

Requirements

• Residence in Ukraine (remote work eligible only for candidates based in Ukraine)
• 4+ years of hands-on experience in Flutter development
• Expertise in Android development using Kotlin with 4+ years of experience
• Proficiency in writing clean, maintainable code and following best practices in Flutter and Kotlin
• Familiarity with version control systems, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile/Scrum development methodologies
• Understanding of design principles and patterns such as MVVM or similar
• Capability to troubleshoot performance issues and optimize solutions for Flutter and native Android platforms
• Flexibility to adapt existing native functionalities for integration with Flutter
• Showcase of previous projects or apps developed using Flutter and Kotlin
• Competency in collaboration and communication in a team-focused environment
• B2 level of English or higher, emphasizing technical communication skills

• Knowledge of state management tools such as Provider, Riverpod, or Bloc
• Understanding of platform-specific integrations and custom native modules
