Project Manager (Ternopil Office)

Crowdin is looking for a Project Manager to help coordinate our 24-person product team working on our core SaaS platform. This role focuses on internal team management rather than client communication.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate work across developers, designers, and QA
• Plan and monitor releases and deadlines
• Track and manage team performance
• Occasionally participate in external communication (very rare)

Requirements

• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Fluency in English (enough to participate in conversations)
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced and flexible environment
• Previous experience is great, but we value adaptability more

What to Expect

Most candidates we've spoken to in the past have experience managing smaller teams of 6–8 people. This role involves working with a larger team of 24. The reason this larger team size works well is because product development at Crowdin is structured differently: the Project Manager will collaborate closely with Product Management instead of end clients. Tasks arrive well-formulated, and the performance evaluation process is rather automated — making delivery and oversight much more streamlined than in typical project setups.

At Crowdin, the Project Manager is not expected to:

• Break down features into tasks
• Prioritize the backlog
• Handle budgeting
• Prepare reports

Instead, the focus will be on:

• Tracking deadlines and aligning team progress to meet them
• Participating in asynchronous (text-based) standups, or adjusting this format if needed
• Maintaining team rhythm and monitoring progress via metrics like velocity and burn-down
• Watching performance metrics (which are semi-automated)
• Making adjustments when priorities shift or urgent tasks appear
