Business Intelligence Specialist

I am currently searching for an experience Business Intelligence Specialist for a valued client of mine based with Brussels.

In this role, you will develop and deliver data-driven insights that support strategic decision-making across the organization. As a BI Specialist, you will collaborate with various departments, creating impactful reports and dashboards that enable efficient data analysis and help drive business success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports to track key performance metrics.
• Gather, analyze, and interpret data from various sources to provide actionable insights.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into effective BI solutions.
• Work closely with data engineers to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency.
• Optimize data visualization and reporting processes to improve efficiency.
• Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities to inform decision-making and improve business performance.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Business Intelligence Specialist (freelance experience preferred).
• Strong knowledge of BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
• Proficiency in SQL and data modeling, with experience in ETL processes.
• Familiarity with data warehousing solutions (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery).
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate complex data insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Fluent in English; knowledge of French or Dutch is a plus.
