Position: INTERN Software Engineer, Validation & Verification

Location: Geneva, Switzerland (Hybrid)

We are currently seeking an INTERN to assist with the Validation & Verification of our Software. This will be a 3-to-6-month assignment working with our V&V Team in Geneva.


Reporting to the VP of RAQA, the V&V Intern will conduct V&V tests and evaluations that ensure all features of our product fulfills customer expectations and the requested quality level. In collaboration with the V&V team s/he will support the design of V&V tests and acceptance criteria, in accordance with regulations, harmonized standards and guidelines.


Key Responsibilities include:

  • Assist the V&V team in the generation of testing reports according to product development documentation requirements and internal procedures.
  • Perform various testing types, including integration and functional tests, simulation-based testing on virtual machines and testing on real-life device environments.
  • Continuously and iteratively run, in accordance with the project development plan and SW development plan, software verification and validation until acceptance criteria are met
  • Maintain detailed, JAMA-documented records of testing activities, results, and any identified issues for RAQA and the Defect Triage Board review.
  • Implement test benches and test suites in accordance with quality standards and guidance
  • Ensure that all V&V activities are executed, documented and traced according to the internal applicable procedures and in accordance with the processes and procedures.


What You Need to Succeed


  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field completed
  • Currently studying for Masters in related field (level 1 or level 2)
  • Eligible to participate in an internship agreement (‘convention’) with your Academic Institution
  • Experience in software development and test a strong asset
  • Scripting language such as Phyton required
  • Knowledge of C# a real plus
  • Proficient in usual suite of MS Office and Atlassian tools
  • Ability to write and verify test-benches
  • Experience on software verification, validation, usability evaluation
  • Ability to collect and analyze results, synthesize improvement of proposals and field requirements, review specifications
  • Attention to detail with and ability to follow processes and procedures in compliance with quality requirements
  • Organized, methodical, structured
