WHAT YOU WILL DO

- Collaborate closely with your engineering peers and product managers to ensure work is clear, prioritized correctly, and delivered successfully;
- Maintain and enhance existing features in React Native and Swift (iOS) applications;
- Debug and resolve complex issues across different platforms;
- Strategize with stakeholders to provide technical input around the Vox Media mobile roadmap;
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code;
- Conduct unit and integration testing to ensure code quality;
- Identify and implement improvements to mobile CI/CD pipelines;
- Strategize a future direction for mobile development, including developing app templates and standardized tools;
- Support development of new mobile apps from the ground up.

MUST HAVES

- Minimum 4+ years of experience in mobile application development;
- Proven experience working with React Native and/or Swift (iOS);
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle;
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills;
- Experience with unit and integration testing methodologies;
- Effective communication and collaboration skills;
- Experience with Git/Github version control, CI/CD;
- CodeMagic, Expo, Android Play Store and Testflight for managing test apps and deployments;
- Amplitude for analytics;
- Upper-Intermediate English level.

NICE TO HAVES

- Experience with other mobile frameworks (e.g., Flutter, Kotlin);
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud Platform).
