React Native Developer

Role Overview: As the React Native Engineer, you’ll be the technical cornerstone of this new mobile strategy. You’ll build the foundational cross-platform application from the ground up, working closely with engineering, product, and design leads.

Reporting to the Sr. Engineering Manager for B2C, you’ll help define the technical direction, bridge the gap between native and web, and lead the transition to a unified React Native experience across multiple brands.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect & Develop: Build and maintain the core React Native mobile app used across multiple brands.
• Cross-Platform Expertise: Deliver smooth, high-performance mobile experiences on iOS, Android, and mobile web.
• Lead the Migration: Guide the transition from native development to React Native and shape cross-platform strategy.
• Mentorship & Collaboration: Support and enable native developers in adopting React Native through mentorship and shared best practices.
• Set the Standard: Establish mobile coding standards, architecture, testing, and release workflows.
• Partner Strategically: Align technical decisions with business goals by working closely with product, engineering, and design stakeholders.
  
  

Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 3 years in React Native development.
• Strong skills in JavaScript/TypeScript, mobile UI/UX, and performance debugging across platforms.
• Hands-on experience migrating from native iOS/Android to React Native.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced, agile teams.
• Excellent communication skills and experience influencing technical strategy.
  
  

Nice To Have

• Experience in fintech, payments, or global B2C applications.
• Familiarity with native iOS (Swift) and Android (Kotlin) development.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, mobile app releases, and store deployment processes.
