Build Engineer

We are looking for a proactive Build Engineer to help teams at Metacore implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines and investigate build issues. As part of the Central QA team within our technology organization, this role offers an excellent opportunity to grow and learn the ropes from an experienced team. You’ll work closely with game and centralized teams, collaborating across all crafts involved in the development process.

Responsibilities

• Defining, creating, optimizing and maintaining build, deployment, and distribution pipelines
• Implementing tools and scripts that improve the efficiency of our CI processes
• Developing tools and capabilities to effectively monitor build pipeline status, execution metrics, and more
• Investigating and troubleshooting issues in our a CI pipelines
• Managing build machines dedicated to client builds
• Setting up integrations with Android and iOS app stores, and Firebase
  
  
  

Requirements

• Background in engineering or programming, with some previous work experience in programming
• Understanding of CI/CD tooling (e.g., GitHub Actions) and pipeline development
• Experience in programming (C#, Python, JavaScript, etc.) and/or technical quality assurance
• Basic understanding of Unity and game development
• Strong collaboration and communication skills enabling you to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Motivated and proactive attitude with a continuous eagerness to learn

• Experience with App Store Connect, Google Play, and Firebase
• Experience building and releasing iOS/Android apps
